Fair Isle Sweater Dress

This is my 100th blog post! I can't believe it. With it being the last day of December, I cannot believe a new year is upon us and it will be my first full year blogging! These last 4 months have flown by and I can't wait to see what's next for this blog of mine. Now for today's post, I adore a good sweater dress. Cozy, warm, comfy. What's not to love? I scored this beauty on mega sale at H&M and I am in love. The print is so fun and the color scheme is beautiful. I was able to pair it with gray OTK boots and a navy bag and it pulled it all together. I love the versatility of this dress. The way I styled it here had comfort reigning supreme but you could definitely dress it up..You can add leggings, tights, a blazer. The possibilities are endless.

Dress: H & M (only $15!) // Boots: Target (similar here) // Ring: Kendra Scott // Earrings: ILYCouture // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (love this version too)

This is one of my all-time favorite combinations. The deep tones of this aubergine skirt paired with leather and leopard accents is too perfect for words. I wore this look to the Chaulk Christmas party and it was both comfortable (we do a LOT of eating and drinking when we get together) and stylish. The weather has been unusually warm (in the 50s) so while I'm dying to take my new Sorel snow boots out for a spin, I don't mind being able to wear a skirt in late December! The skirt was a sale score at Madewell, but I've linked a few similar ones to help you recreate this look!

Christmas Day

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. Today I'm sharing what I wore on Christmas Day! My husband, in-laws, and I went downtown Cincinnati for dinner after a lot of relaxing around the house and opening presents. Santa sure was good to us! I put together this classic look with pops of red for a festive look. I also sported my new Kate Spade tortoiseshell watch that I found under the tree!

Dress: Forever 21 (old but love this) // Shirt: J.Crew // Shoes: Michael Antonio via 6PM (under $30!) // Earrings: Shop Pretty Pants c/o // Watch: Kate Spade // Ring: Baublebar // Bag: Burberry (this would be cute and love this)

Blogger Clothing Swap

Hello, loves! Today I have something different to share with you all. The weekend before Christmas, a few of my Cincinnati blogger babes and I got together to do a clothing swap! Basically, we all cleaned out our closets of clothes we no longer wore, and before sending them to the donation bin, we got together and had so much fun sipping champagne and trying stuff on. We all got to leave with new items to love and the rest got donated (which is a great feeling, especially during the holidays)! It was seriously a blast and I highly recommend doing it with your girlfriends. Not only does everyone get new stuff (for free!), it's a super fun excuse to get together, turn on some tunes, and have some fun.

City Plates are from Crate & Barrel but I love these

Cheese Board is West Elm (love this one too) // Heart Frame is Vera Wang (love this one)

Cobalt Crush

Ok- first and foremost, my husband laughed at my hat for about 10 solid minutes. Am I crazy for loving it?! It's a little bit Pharrell but I think it's a super fun accessory! It's definitely out of the box for me. I've never worn a hat in the past but lately I've found myself buying them! I'm loving everything from fedoras to beanies. Enough about the hat. I absolutely adore the color of this top. When I saw it at J.Crew (on super sale!), I knew it had to be mine. The color is so vibrant yet I think it is appropriate for any season. Since it's a little baggier, I paired it with my trusty leggings + OTK boot combo for balance.

A Heartfelt Thank You

2014 has for sure been the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding year of my life. We finished planning our wedding, settled into our new home sweet home, got married, went to Europe on our dream honeymoon, excelled in our careers (promotions, new jobs, raises, etc), traveled a whole bunch, gained a new nephew and celebrated exciting birthdays for our current niece/nephew brood, and I found time to create my little corner of the internet here. We were certainly saddened at the passing of our beloved Grandpa Chaulk, and words cannot express how woeful I am that he will not be able to see the new year with us. That being said, I am so looking forward to what new adventures and opportunities 2015 brings. On this joyous Christmas Day, I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to all my readers + followers. Your guys' comments bring joy to my day and I've found so much pleasure in being able to truly express myself through fashion on here. Ninesto5 has become my little happy place and I am overwhelmed and humbled by the support I've received as I've started down this path. I can't wait to see what's to come for this little blog of mine and I truly couldn't do it without you guys.

From my family to yours, MERRY CHRISTMAS and I hope you get everything you've ever wanted.

With love, Preeti

Aviator Chic

I am OBSESSED with this top. Yes, another J.Crew sale score! It's so feminine with the sequin detail, yet I can't help but think I'm in the cockpit with Goose by my side ;) I paired it with my new favorite denim from Madewell. This look is equal parts cute and functional. FYI I sized up on the shirt for a more relaxed fit.

Denim: Madewell // Top: J.Crew // Shoes: Steve Madden (love these) // Bag: Chanel (affordable option) // Sunnies: Ray-Ban // Watch: Michael Kors // Ring: Kendra Scott

Weekend Wear

The cobalt crush is real. I also cannot tell you guys how much I adore jogger pants. They are so comfortable (I wear them on the plane all the time) but they look so chic. I paired these with a vest and heels for a relaxed yet pulled together look for some weekend errands. I can't believe Christmas is this week!
