Friday Finds

Happy Fri-YAY! I wanted to introduce another series on Ninesto5 called "Friday Finds". Here, I will be showing you guys some things I've found while scouring the internet. I'll likely showcase 5-6 products and if there's anything else that struck my fancy, I may include that!

Product Finds
I am OBSESSED with these printed heels from Lulu*s. Unfortunately they're sold out in my size, but if you're a size 5-6.5, please get them and tell me how amazing they are.

I told myself I would be more active in the new year. I haven't really done that, but I think this Tory Burch Fitbit may help me get moving.

I have been lusting with a capital L over the Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boot. One of these days, I'll pull the trigger.

I've been wanting to up my sneaker game so I have a more extensive collection of comfortable footwear, and these Loeffler Randall kicks are calling my name.

I'm going to a beach wedding in Mexico in March and this Mara Hoffman dress may have to come with me.

"I have enough tote bags". Said, no woman ever. This Madewell tote is gorgeous and so functional.

Non-Product Finds

Mom's Confess 20 F'd Up Things Their Kids Did - there were real tears of laughter. All moms and moms-to-be have to read this. Hilarious.

Buzzfeed released a Which Famous Sisters Are You? quiz. I got Kendall and Kylie. I'm ok with that.

This is the 10-Day Forecast for West Palm Beach, FL, where I will be heading on Monday. Get me to the sun!

Another week down, another weekend to look forward to! Have a good one!

Think Pink

I don't think it gets more feminine than this look. I bought this dress in Greece and immediately fell in love. The blush pink is the perfect shade and the beaded detailing at the neck is so cute. Paired with floral pumps and silver accessories, this is a great look for a date night, party, or a particular day in February!

This look is my go-to for a casual afternoon of running errands or going out with friends. It's simple, classic, and comfortable. I love that I can swap out the bag and shoes to create this look many different ways. This bag is an old favorite and the colors go perfectly with the shoes.

Floral Bomber Jacket

I got this jacket from my sweet friend Cassie when she was cleaning out her closet and I loveeee it. It's a perfect fit with a fun, girly print yet it's not too serious. Paired with this pink dress and neutral accessories, I think it's a great look that can go from the office to happy hour. I think it'd be great for Valentine's Day, too!

Valentine's Day Gift Guide

To keep in line with the Valentine's Day theme, I thought I'd share my first Valentine's Day gift guide! Whether you exchange gifts with your girlfriends or your special someone, it's always a fun time to spread the love! Below I'm sharing a few gifts (all under $50!) that I would be more than happy to give OR receive for the holiday. I wanted to post this with enough time left to shop if you're still in the midst of planning your festivities. If you're not into buying gifts for Valentine's Day, cooking a homemade meal or making something sentimental would be just as sweet! Leave a comment on how you like to spend your Feb. 14th!

Leather + Floral

If there's one thing I love about fashion, it's contrast. Edgy + Feminine. Bright + Muted. Stripes + Plaid. Classic + Trendy. The list goes on and on. One more to add to that list is definitely Leather + Floral. The toughness of a leather jacket paired with a beautiful floral top is a match made in heaven. Since the shoes and top are so bright, I decided to keep everything else pretty simple. This is a combo that I will go to again and again and can be worn throughout any season.

Sequins + Full Skirt

I have never owned a skirt quite like this before. I scored it on major sale at Express. I'm talking $20, so I had to pick it up. It's full, ladylike, and a gorgeous shade of gray that is so versatile. Here I paired it with my favorite sequin top and some bright pumps and clutch for a girly look that isn't too soft. I think this look would be perfect for Valentine's Day if you're a girly girl with a bit of an edge.

Tulle Skirt + Red Scallops

Now that NYE has come and gone, the next holiday we love to dress up for is Valentine's Day! Whether you'll be heading out for a galentine's night or a romantic evening, it sure is fun to load up on red, pink, white, and sparkles. This week I'm going to be sharing a few looks inspired by Feb. 14th. First up is this gorgeous tulle skirt. I have been dying for a tulle skirt for a long time but didn't want to spend a lot on an item I knew I wouldn't wear much. As my luck would have it, my blogger friend Natalie was sweet enough to give me hers during our clothing swap. Paired with this bright red top with the adorable scalloped back, I have a gorgeous look ready for Valentine's Dday. I feel so girly and glamorous in this look, and it was comfortable!

Spring Cravings

It's starting to warm up in Cincinnati again! Its supposed to be in the 40s and 50s this weekend! I'm smiling ear to ear just thinking of the warm sun and light until 8pm. All of this talk has me craving spring. Therefore, I've rounded up some of my favorite items that will definitely be in my shopping cart for springtime. As much as I love pastels in the spring, I also find myself gravitating towards bright neon. It gets so easy to fall into a rut of dark colors in the winter that the second the temp warrants it, I'm in full color. Judging by the collage below, you'll be finding me in lots of turquoise and yellow this upcoming spring season!

Pop of Purple

I started seeing these varsity sweaters (is that what we're calling them?) everywhere in the fall and I immediately fell in love. They're sporty yet feminine. Paired with distressed denim, some plaid slip-on sneakers, and a vibrant handbag, the sweater is the perfect canvas for fun accessories. Although it was freezing and so windy when we took these photos, the sunshine definitely helped! I am so ready for warmer temps and longer days.

Varsity Sweater: Sheinside // Denim: Madewell // Necklace: Gorjana c/o Rocksbox // Bangle: Margaret Elizabeth c/o Rocksbox // Earrings: Forever 21 // Bag: Target // X Ring: Baublebar // Cage Ring: Forever 21 // Shoes: American Eagle
