Flowy Tunic + Boyfriend Shorts

Ok seriously, how cute is this tunic?! And believe me when I say it is one of the most comfy things in my closet! I usually pair more flowy tops with more fitted bottoms (or vice versa), but I love the way this tunic looks with my trusty boyfriend shorts. What's hilarious is how big these shorts are on me now since my weight loss! While my belly is starting to get bigger every day, I'm still skinnier overall since I first bought these, and they were kind of falling down on me! Regardless, I love the laid back vibe of this look and I sure was comfortable for a day of errands in this. I see myself wearing this tunic a ton, and since it doesn't really have structure, I'm hoping to get away with it for as long as possible!

Tunic: SheIn c/o [under $30] // Shorts: Rag & Bone // Bag: Chloe // Sneakers: Target [similar here] // Bracelets: Kendra Scott // Watch: Michael Kors // Sunnies: Nordstrom [only $12]

Old Dog, New Tricks

Happy Memorial Day! In honor of the holiday, I've paired up with my blog bestie Katie to share some red, white, and blue outfit inspo! How adorable is her blue bag matched with those sunnies?! Anyway, over here on my end, the remix struggle is real. You just saw this dress last week [oh and here + here], but over MDW, I wanted to give it a more patriotic spin. I still went for the lace-up flats, but added in more bold accessories in the red, white, and blue family. I clearly just love this dress and hope it's convinced you that you need a LWD in your life! You can dress them up or down and they're perfect for summer holidays and celebrations. Be sure to visit Out + Outfit to see her look!

Friday Finds

Friday, we meet again! Who else can't believe it's Memorial Day weekend already?! This year is seriously flying by. We're staying in town this year and hope to be able to get out to enjoy the holiday weekend (and hopefully good weather)! I still am not feeling so hot and am just waiting for the day I get some relief! Below are some links for you to peruse before you take off for the long weekend!

This dress is perfect for the seasons and comes in a ton of colors/prints (and only $10)!

These wedges look super cute and comfy and are 25% off!

These would go perfectly with that dress.

How fun is this clutch?!

The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is on! I'm loving this, this (which I own in cream), and these! Don't miss this sale.

Love these life hacks from one of my favorite YouTubers.

Given my limited diet these days, I definitely want to try making these.

My fellow The Hills lovers will definitely crack up at this like I did!

Who else is so excited about this?!

LWD x Olive Trench

I have worn this dress a thousand and one ways by now [evidence here, here, and here], and I am always looking at new ways to wear it. Now that I'm pregnant, I love incorporating flowy layers to otherwise delicate pieces. Add in some funky shoes and my go-to bag, and I have a look that is perfect for my ever evolving style (and body)! A LWD is so perfect for spring and summer and I'm sure I'll be wearing this more with everything from sneakers to strappy heels. It's been a little chilly around these parts still, so the trench [last seen here] was the perfect extra layer. How do you make old favorites feel new year round?!

Dress: Chicwish [love this + this] // Trench: Banana Republic [love this + this for 40% off] // Flats: Topshop // Bag: Prada // Sunnies: here only $14 // Watch: Michael Kors // Necklace: Stella & Dot

Thread Cincinnati x Dress for Success Event

Today's post is a little different but it's for good reason. Thread Cincinnati wants to extend an invite to you all [specifically those in the Cincinnati area] to come have happy hour with us tomorrow night at The Frock! Bring in your gently used women's attire that is appropriate for the office, and in exchange we'll provide the drinks and snacks [in partnership with L'eggs and Dress for Success]! We're hoping for a really great turnout to benefit DFS Cincinnati and have some fun while we're at it! See the official invite here for more details. What's better than donating to a good cause AND having a good time?! Hope to see you there!

And be sure to 'like' Thread Cincinnati on Facebook so you never miss future posts/events!

I hope y'all aren't sick of seeing my denim outerwear yet, because my jean jacket and vest are in constant rotation. I've mentioned before how much I love these types of casual looks, and it's likely what you can find me in on a spring/summer weekend. I scored this dress at the Gap outlet during the event with Cincinnati Premium Outlets, and I can tell it's going to get a ton of wear this summer. I'd recommend going a size down, because even at almost 14 weeks pregnant, I've got room to spare in a Medium. I added these super fun earrings I recently picked up to jazz up an otherwise basic ensemble. What do you think of wearing sneakers with dresses?!

Friday Finds

image via The Teacher Diva

Friday, we meet again! This week was a doozy in the worst way and we have some celebrations to attend this weekend, so I'm really hoping I'm feeling good enough to be out and about for a bit. I also want to shoot some looks now that my belly is growing a teeny bit! I am also hoping that the weather warms up (for good). What are you guys up to this weekend?! I can't believe May is almost over. Below is some of what I've been loving lately. Enjoy!

Save up to 30% off my favorite jewels! I especially love this and these.

How fun is this skirt for under $50?!

These definitely just got added to my cart.

My skin went from super oily to dry, so I mix a few drops of this in with my moisturizer for glow.

If you're in the area, I hope you can join the Thread Cincinnati x Dress for Success event next week!

Did you catch my first Pregnancy Tag? I was blown away by the positive response so thank you!

Now that Kate and I are pregnant at the same time, I'm loving her maternity looks!

Even though I'm #teamNSYNC, this took me back in the best way!

After babymania, it's back to regularly scheduled outfit posts! If I'm being totally honest, this is the type of look I love to wear the most. It's comfy, tried and true, and has an extra layer of warmth (because I'm cold 99% of the time). Especially now that I'm pregnant, those are the qualities I look for when getting dressed. The flats keep it real for a day that's subject to walking and the chambray around the waist is just added insurance. Paired with my favorite bag and some sunnies, I'm ready for whatever may come my way. These espadrilles are new favorites for the season and I love the studded detail. What's your go-to outfit!?

Dress: Old Navy // Chambray: Nordstrom // Espadrilles: Rebecca Minkoff // Sunnies: Nordstrom (only $12) // Bag: // X Ring: Uncommon Goods c/o // Skinny Rings: Stella & Dot // Watch: Michael Kors
