Green + Gold [& The Perfect Wedges]

If you looked in my closet, the colors you'll find most are blues and greens. I don't know why, but I always seem to gravitate towards them. When I saw these green ripped skinnies, I knew I'd get a ton of wear out of them. They're super comfortable and under $30! I paired them with my favorite wedges of the season and some delicate gold jewelry. I wore this for a day date with Mike before I went back to work and it was the perfect casual and cool ensemble.

Top: Nordstrom // Jeans: Target [$30] // Wedges: Steve Madden [$60] // Watch: Michael Kors // Necklace: Kate Spade // Earrings: cloverpost // Sunnies: here // Bag: Chanel [similar here under $20, also love this for $35]

Friday, we meet again! HOW is February practically over?! I'm not complaining, though, because that means spring is that much closer (and flu season will be over)! The weather lately has been incredible, which has been a nice little sneak peek. We're hoping to enjoy another nice weekend together as a family. Below is what I've been loving lately. Enjoy!

I seriously want EVERYTHING from this site. So, I guess it's 2004 again?!

Any other beauty guru-obsessed people so excited for this collab?

This dress is SO sweet for spring and under $40!

These points are great for anyone of any age.

Hahahahhaa. #momlife

Off-The-Shoulder for Spring

I love off-the-shoulder tops but I often have a hard time finding ones that are flattering on me. I've given it a go in dresses [seen here and here], but tops are fewer and farther between. When I stumbled across this one, I knew I had to try it. And I love it!! It's a heavy chambray material so it doesn't feel flimsy and the elastic is thick so it doesn't slip down my shoulders. It doesn't hurt that it's under $20! I paired it with white denim and gray accessories to keep it fresh for springtime. I'm also so excited to share this gorgeous ring from Larimar. When they reached out to me and offered a piece from their collection, I was ecstatic. I don't own too much silver jewelry but I wear a ton of blue so I knew I had to get my hands on this ring. Check out their full collection here. It's all incredibly beautiful and unique. Thanks for stopping by!

Teal Bell Sleeves

I am loving bell sleeves so much this season. I've shared some of my favorites here, here, and here, and I can't get enough. I love pairing bold colors with a pop of print to keep it fun and interesting. So, I brought in my trusty leopard heels and new favorite bag to pull the look together. This top is unbelievably soft and surprisingly thick and only $39! It will be so beautiful in spring with white denim, as well.

Top: WAYF [$39] // Denim: Target // Heels: Sam Edelman [love these] // Necklace: World Market // Watch: Michael Kors // Bag: Gucci // Sunnies: here

Apparently every blogger but me has this jacket and I'm seriously about to pull the trigger. How gorgeous is the cranberry color?!

This dress is so, so stunning and I am so excited for wedding season!

This top will definitely be my next purchase for spring.

All the mama tears.

Have you caught up with Thread Cincinnati lately? There is so much great new content.

Beauty Empties

It's been a while since the last time I did this [see my previous empties here + here]. I love sharing products that I use up and what I really think of them. I try A LOT of beauty products thanks to my day job so I like to think of myself as a little beauty investigative reporter. I've been really getting into skin and body care so I have a lot of that to share, as well as a few hair and cosmetic empties. Have you tried any of these products?! Let me know in the comments!

Redken Control Addict Hair Spray - Redken makes the best hairsprays in my opinon. They are pricey but so worth it. My hair is a nightmare to deal with, and it always stays in place the best when I use Redken styling products. I will first use the wax blast to give my waves some texture, then I spray this all over to hold everything in place. I love it and it smells good!

Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Wash- This may be my all-time favorite body wash. The scent is unbeatable and my skin always feels so soft after I use it. I can't really say much more than that. It just gets the job done and leaves you feeling fresh and ready for the day.

Venus + Olay Sugar Berry Shaving Cream - Ok, so maybe it's a little strange that I'm including this, but I just had to share! This is the best smelling shaving cream EVER! It literally made me want to shave my legs everyday just so I could smell it. I mean Venus really has the market on lock, and the formula is amazing. I never get nicks with this and I just am obsessed with the scent. This is a definite repurchase.

Skinceuticals Emollience Moisturizer - I have tried A LOT of moisturizers in my day. I've tried everything from drugstore to designer so I feel like I have a pretty good grip on what's out there. That was until I tried this. This is my new holy-grail moisturizer for the winter time. I have a pretty oily t-zone but the rest of my face is super dry. That usually poses me a problem. But this moisturizer delivers just what I need where I need it. It is really thick but not in a greasy way. My face instantly feels nourished and my makeup actually goes on really well after using this. I will say this might be a bit too thick for summer months, but in the winter, I will never use anything else. I have definitely noticed an overall positive difference in the texture and feel of my skin since using this.

L'Oreal Ideal Towelettes - These are my absolute favorite towelettes for makeup removal. When I've had a really long day, these are what I turn to take the day off. I even kept them on my bedside when I was hospitalized last year. They take everything off and leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed. The scent is really pleasant and not overpowering.

Garnier SkinActive Clean+ Towelettes - Charcoal-based skincare products are all the rage these days. In fact, my favorite mask of the moment is charcoal. These towelettes are oil-free and cleansing. They're made to remove oil and mattify for those with oil-prone skin. I loved using these in the morning as a quick refresh before I applied my makeup. I will say they weren't the best at removing makeup [although they never claimed to], but they were good at giving me a good base to apply my makeup on.

L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray - Before I tried this, I totally thought that setting sprays were a scam. I mean, it's basically hairspray for your face, right? Wrong! This setting spray is AMAZING. I swear I can put on makeup at 7am and have it still look amazing at 5pm. I have pretty oily skin, especially my t-zone, so my nose gets shiny really easily. When I would put this on, my makeup would stay matte and in place all day. I am currently trying out the NYX version [which is cheaper], but I have a feeling I'll be going back to this one as soon as that one is finished up.

Velvet Bomber

When I found out that velvet was majorly trending for Spring, I didn't know how I felt about it. It's not my favorite and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find any pieces I loved and that I could pull off. But when I stumbled across this crushed velvet bomber, it was love at first sight. This jacket is under $35 and the quality is actually amazing. It's super soft and feels like it will last quite a long time. I paired it with my favorite denim [last seen here] and some sneaks to keep it cool and casual. How do you feel about the velvet trend?!
