Every single thing about this look is a throwback for me. A white skirt, one-shoulder top, straight/non-curled hair, and glossy lip. Even the retailers I scored these pieces from hold some nostalgia for me! All of these elements remind me of looks from my early 20s, but for some reason this still feels fresh. The ruffled shoulder on this top keeps it current and the straw clutch and studded heels keep it interesting. In fact, many elements of this look can be seen in Monday's post! I just love this type of look. These types of outfits are totally wearable for so many occasions and the pieces can be mixed and matched with other closet staples for future outfits. I am so excited that summer fashion is here! Also, speaking of, don't forget to enter to win $1,000 to shop at Nordstrom! Just in time to spruce up your closet with all that good summer fashion!

Chambray All Day + *$1000 GIVEAWAY*

I may or may not have used this same title before, but it's because I love chambray so much. In fact, this is not the only time you'll see it this week! Stay tuned for Wednesday's post! But for now, let's talk about this dress. The sleeves are so fun, funky, and on trend, but the whole thing still looks classic. It's super comfortable and flattering. Sometimes dresses like this can be a bit too much of a potato sack, but I loved the way this fit on me. If you're tall I think it will be even better! I know I've been wearing these shoes a ton lately, but it's because they're so incredibly versatile. I highly recommend them if you've always wanted to rockstud look without the Valentino price tag! Also, this bag is the one y'all went crazy for on Instagram, and I can't recommend it enough! The dress and bag are both under $50 and the shoes are under $100 so this is an all-around win. And now for the best part of today's post - scroll below for a chance to win $1000 to Nordstrom!

Friday Finds

Friday, we meet again! This week was so insanely busy. Both D and I had doctor appointments plus I had both personal and work lunches. On top of that, I had real work to do as well as a ton of errands and chores. Phew. I'm ready for the weekend! We have a few barbecues with friends and family for the holiday so I'm super excited! Let me know what you guys are up to this weekend in the comments. Enjoy!

The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is on! I'm loving this, this, and this (all under $50!).

If you have an oily T-Zone like me, this toner will change your skin/makeup routine!

This dress is stunning and would be perfect for any spring/summer weddings!

This post is making me want to venture into essential oils. Do you any of you use them!?

I cried literal tears of laughter at this. If you're a mom, you should get a good laugh.

This video really makes me want to do the KonMari method.

The best blouse ever for only $40!

The latest installment of my beauty empties.

My latest momiform.

There's nothing I love more than a throw-on-and-go dress that has pockets. When I stumbled across this one in this gorgeous dusty sage green color, it was an immediate #addtocart moment. It looks so cute with everything from sneakers to wedges and I know I get the most wear out of pieces like this. I threw on my latest jean jacket obsession and these sneakers that are way too cool to be mine. I had been wanting a pair of all black sneakers but didn't want to spend $120 on them. When I found these, I knew they'd be perfect. This look actually reminds me a lot of this look, which proves that once I find a formula I like, I stick to it time and time again. This type of ensemble would definitely fall in my repertoire of "momiform" outfits and I'm not mad about it. The dress is under $20 [which makes me want all the colors] and the jacket and shoes are both under $70! You just can't beat an affordable look that you'll be able to wear time and time again.

Beauty Empties

Here I am with another beauty empties. I've done four or five of these by now so you know the drill. I'll just be talking about products I've used up recently and what I think of them! Let's get right into it.

Skinceuticals Emollience Moisturizer - I have tried A LOT of moisturizers throughout the years. As I approach the big 3-0, I definitely pay more attention to my skincare routine. This moisturizer delivers. It is really thick and my face instantly feels nourished and my makeup actually goes on really well after using this. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion. Read more in this post.

Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Wash- This may be my all-time favorite body wash. My skin feels so soft and moisturized after using it. I go through multiple bottles of this every year. Read more in this post.

L'Oreal Brow Definer - I never used to care about my brows until I discovered this product. Even on days when I don't put on any makeup at all, I'll still fill in my brows with this. I think I've gone through six or seven of these pencils and I always keep a backup on hand. Read more about it in this post.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water - This was a bit of a frivolous purchase for me but I'm a sucker for pretty packaging! I also love all things coconut water so I really wanted to give this try, I always keep this spray on hand, so thought I'd mix it up and try this one. I have to say, I LOVE it! I spritzed it on my face every morning after waking up and it helped perk me up right away. I actually think I'll purchase this again, along with some other things from the brand I want to try, like this and this.

L'Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal Dual Moisturizer - I absolutely love this moisturizer! The packaging is so chic and I love the dual chambers. It also smells really good. I use the cleanser from this line and I truly am seeing a difference in the brightness of my skin. It's made me more confident to go makeup-less [which I do on the reg, because #momlife]. I highly recommend trying this line if you're looking to brighten up your skin.

24K Gold Face Mask - Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets suckered into the little bite-sized beauty section at Target!? I am a mask junkie and always end up grabbing a few sheet masks on every Target trip. This one intrigued me because, duh, gold. And you guys, it is GOLD! Mike laughed so hard when he saw me wearing this mask. My skin definitely looked bright and fresh after this. It was a nice little mid-week treat.

Redken Wax Blast - This is my all-time favorite hair texturizer. I spray this all over my head after I'm done curling my hair before I put on hair spray. It smells amazing and gives my hair nice texture and hold to keep my curls fresh for a long time. I swear by Redken hairsprays [Fashion Work is the best ever] and I love adding in this to my hair routine.

Must-Have Spring Blouse

I feel like with every season comes a wardrobe piece that is just quintessential. For this spring, it is this blouse. If you can't tell, I'm really partial to floral blouses [like this one I recently shared]. I have no problem adding new ones to my closet because I know I'll always reach for them. I'm not one to shop at Anthropologie much, mostly due to my bitterness about the $11 shipping, but when they recently had a sale, I caved. This blouse is absolutely to die for. It is comfortable as all get-out but still has that classic Anthro quality. In true Nines to 5 fashion, I paired this classically femine and sweet blouse with a more rugged pair of denim and some trendy accessories. I think this look is 100% "me". I actually wore this on Mother's Day and I felt so great in it. Chic, polished, comfortable, and able to care for Dillon without anything getting in the way. If you're looking for a great blouse to go from spring to summer, I highly recommend it. It'd even be cute over a bathing suit with some cut-offs!
